Norway

In the popular mind Noway is associated with fjords and - er - fjords. In reality it has many other attributes: a monopoly on red oxide paint, the most popular colour for its wooden buildings; the slowest speed limits in Europe and the most drastic penalties for exceeding them; more waterfalls than you can remember; the highest prices for just about anything; friendly people who speak excellent English (I can't comment on their Norwegian). And so on.

Our first film takes you to what has been voted Norway's best road. The competition is stiff and I'm not sure I agree with the voting, but certainly the Atlantic Highway is spectacular.

Our second film is in two parts and travels up the steep Trollstigen (Trolls' Ladder) pass, past spectacular waterfalls, round eleven hairpin bends and threatened by a constant stream of tour coaches and oversize campervans.
