Saqqara is the site of Egypt's oldest pyramid, as well as a number of other pyramids and mastaba tombs. It features regularly on the annual Diggings Tour and this short film is composed of footage I took some years back with my very first video camera. I promise to do better next time.
Also from that same trip is the next film that takes us to the Suez Canal.
In 2006 I returned to Egypt and made some more films, the first of which takes us to Cairo, the capital city, the second to Aswan in the far south of Egypt, after which we launch out into Sinai and brave its deserts and mine fields to bring you two tales of adventure on the low seas.
