Turkish Bath

	After a day battling the heat in Petra, what you need is swirling steam and even more heat!

With a name like "Salome Turkish Bath", I suppose I should have expected the worst, but of course this is Jordan, not one of the seamy back-streets of Rhyl. The establishment is entirely respectable, the staff friendly, and the massage most efficacious in soothing muscles aching from the long climb up to ed-Deir. The Australian couple I found there were so relaxed that I still wonder how they summoned up enough energy to get back to their hotel!

When you visit Petra, Salome's Turkish Bath is a must: phone the number given in the film and tell them you heard about them on NWTV and you might even get a free ride from your hotel to the bath house.
