At a time when other villages are summoning up the Morris dancers or breaking out the flower arrangers, Dyserth has come up with the unusual idea of a festival of scarecrows. We have just a taster of the scary delights on offer; there are many more including one splendid one right at the end of a tiny lane which proves that scarecrows do not, in fact, scare crows.

Dyserth is famous for its falls and there are lots of lovely walks in the area, but in the second film we visit the parish church, which houses an ancient cross.
