The Buried Heart

	St Mary's Church, Burford

Not far from Tenbury in the north-west corner of Worcestershire is the parish church of Burford. The village today is little more than a large garden centre where you can buy pot plants and lawn feed, but the church is a beautiful remnant of a past age.

Among the treasures inside the church is a tomb to a young man who died in Cologne but who was so homesick that he gave his servant a somewhat macabre dying command.
