Erasmus Darwin's house

	The home of Dr Erasmus Darwin

Erasmus Darwin was a most interesting character, almost larger than life. I am pretty sure he is the only scientist to have presented his findings in poetry! Additional interest comes from he fact that he came up with a theory that is very similar to the one developed with his grandson, Charles. Evolution, you might say.

Unfortunately the house was not open the day I visited, but I was able to wander in the herb garden where Dr Darwin grew his remedies.
