To start up a business in India, all you need is an idea and the requisite tools. None of that shop and rates nonsense. This segment of the film shows some of the many services on offer by the roadside, from the man who gives you your morning shave to the chap who cleans your ears or sells you fly-covered joints of meat.

My favourite are the men who wander around with tightly-strung bow-like tools which, when plucked, emit a musical note. Their purpose is to fluff up the kapok with which so many mattresses were stuffed in those days before foam rubber had been invented (or had made its way to India!), thereby giving you back you soft, comfortable bed
