Wales owes a tremendous debt to Archbishop William Morgan, the man who translated the Bible into Welsh. Just like Luther's German translation and the King James Version in England, so Morgan's Welsh Bible shaped his nation, keeping the Welsh language alive when it might so easily have died out completely.

Although there is now a new translation, the classical language of Morgan's Bible has left an indelible imprint upon Welsh thought and culture. This film tells the story of the great man.
