Bury St Edmunds

	The martyrdom of King Edmund by the Danes

Bury St Edmunds is a charming city - more the size of a market town than a city, but as it has a cathedral, a city it is. I hope to bring you more film about the place at a later time.

Our first film from there concerns the lovely old church of St Mary, which is crammed with old monuments. I was kindly received by a lady at the reception desk who went to enormous trouble to help me find one of the monuments for which I was looking.

Needless to say, this - as our other films - is just a taster of the riches that await the visitor.
