2003 marks the 600th anniversary of the Battle of Shrewsbury, a relatively minor squabble between a usurper king and a group of northern nobles who felt they had not been adequately rewarded for their support. It is chiefly remembered because of its gruesome aftermath when the exasperated victor took drastic steps to deal with a rumour that threatened his hold on the throne.

The film is half an hour long but unfortunately the quality is poor. The film is available as a high quality DVD video from our shop.
