Battle of Shrewsbury

2003 marks the 600th anniversary of the Battle of Shrewsbury, a relatively minor squabble between a usurper king and a group of northern nobles who felt they had not been adequately rewarded for their support. It is chiefly remembered because of its gruesome aftermath when the exasperated victor took drastic steps to deal with a rumour that threatened his hold on the throne.

This half-hour film has been broken up into four segments for the convenience of those on narrow-band connections. It is available in VHS format (PAL only) or on DVD for £8.00 plus postage.
