White Horse Inn

	The museum claims to be the famous White Horse Inn

Years ago I visited Cambridge and, after seeing all the colleges, asked after the White Horse Inn. No one at the Tourist Information had heard of it and when I asked someone from one of the history departments, he wasn't sure, but he thought it had been demolisehd.

You can imagine my delight, then, to stumble across this building recently, which claims to be the original White Horse Inn. (Some believe that the White Horse Inn was elsewhere and is indeed demolished, but where experts differ, I come down on the side of the thing I can see! I should mention that there is a plaque on the fence at King's College, claiming that the White Horse Inn stood there, but I don't know the basis for their claim.)
