Sydney Harbour

*

Sydney's harbour is the reason why the city exists; the original settlement in Australia was supposed to be at Botany Bay, but the superiority of the harbour quickly became evident and the First Fleet upped anchor and moved.

The harbour is criss-crossed by a network of ferries which offer, at a remarkably reasonable price, a superb way of seeing the harbour. In this short film we start off at Manly with some observations on the view and then cross the harbour to Wooloomooloo (probably the only place name with 8 'o's in it!). As the ferry swings round to the pier we catch sight of a famous landmark.
