The second chapter of Daniel is foundational to understanding the other prophecies in the book. It also has a particular significance for me, for without it and its portentous seven words, my father would not have met my mother and I, of course, would not be here! Some might consider that a Good Thing but personally speaking, I'm rather pleased about being here.
