	Claire Halliday introduces the Oriel Scala

Until I bumped into my artist friend Claire the other day, I didn't know that this art gallery existed. It is in Prestatyn High Street, right next to the refurbished Scala Cinema and Arts Centre. The gallery is a cooperative venture involving several dozen local artists who work with a wide range of media - pottery, photography, paintings, sculpture, and other stuff that a philistine like me couldn't say where is belonged.

We hope to feature some of the artists who exhibit here in the coming months.
