Storm Ciara

When Storm Ciara hit in February 2020, killing several unfortunate people with falling trees, I popped down to Prestatyn Promenade at high tide. The car parks, normally twenty feet above the sandy beach, were covered in water that had cascaded over the sea wall.

I had considered standing in front of the camera and talking wisely and wittily about storms and fronts and low-pressure areas and all the rest of it, but one look at the wind and water and wiser counsels prevailed. All these shots were taken from inside the safety of my car! In the final shot the building is the Nova Swimming Pool and Leisure Complex.
