	It's astonishing what can be conjured out of plain, ordinary, cloth

I always admire those who can take an ordinary, everyday material and do something striking and unusual with it, and that is what the ladies who feature in this film have done. They have taken cloth, paper, wire, beads and goodness knows what else and turned it into stunning 2- and 3-dimensional works of art. One of our local doctors knits - but not boring old jumpers. What she produces are genuine works of art that would grace any gallery.

In this film there is, for example, the woman who made tombstones; another who tore cloth into shreds and then sewed it back together again, and a third who celebrated traffic cones!

Unfortunately, this is one of our earlier films and the quality is poor.
