Cadfael

Ellis Peters' fictional monastic detective Cadfael first came to the light of day with the book A Morbid Taste for Bones, which saw him visiting the little village of Gwytherin in search of the relics of St Winifred. Cadfael fans, of whom there are many, may be interested in seeing what the village looks like now, as well as a glimpse of the countryside round about.

In future films on this theme, I'll try to visit Shrewsbury, where Cadfael had his home.

Oh, and if you haven't a clue what this is all about, watch the film and then turn your computer off, go out and buy the book - or, indeed, the whole series of books. They are a treat.
