Missionary to Calcutta

Elsewhere on this site you can find a film of Calcutta, taken by my father. Here you have the book of the film, so to speak; my mother's very first book. (She has since gone on to be a very successful and prolific author, with some 23 books to her name.)

Missionary to Calcutta does not set out to be a guide book to the city. It is one person's response to the crowded and exotic life of the east as found in Calcutta in 1954.
